Hey guys, I've decided to go a different route. But I have a diy project here that I have been working on that I'm willing to sacrifice to make room for more gear.

I have all the parts, I just have not mounted the driver and amp:

The kit would contain:
1 3/4 HDF custom dual opposed box, painted black. Built by fatbox usa.
It has double baffles. recessed driver mounts with heavy bracing.
3/4 roundover edges. 18.5" W x 25.5" H x 24" D

A Dayton SPA-1000 plate amp.

2 15" drivers made by US AMPS/Re Audio, basically the original SE-15 formula w a small tweak..
Triple stack magnets and huge throw.

2 circular grills.

I have screws,t nuts, wires, polyfill, 4 rubber feet...everything you need to get the box together. It's just been too nuts here for me to finish!

I can share winisd plots, if you pm me.but basically in terms in output it would be sort of like an 18.1 up top, but with a little more headroom around the 20hz region.

Feel free to PM me with any questions but I will be attempting to post some pics tonight!

Asking $800 shipped anywhere in the lower 48.
The box alone was $400
And it is a heavy beast.
paypal accepted.

Guys this thing is going to be a monster of a subwoofer for one lucky home.
Maybe not quite an 18.2 but certainly pretty healthy considering it's size!

Thanks!!!

Amp in place, painted.

primer before paint.

Inside during construction.

Brad nails being filled, before final sanding.

Reminder! This is HDF. It's built like a tank!

Ok, so I did not feel like pulling the drivers out of the box and cutting the plastic tonight, so I found a pic of one:

Again, not my pic, but mine look identical to this one.

Guys - I know the parts used in this sub, and just the amp and drivers alone would be north of $1000. This is a bargain.

And anyone who orders it also gets $100 in credit towards SHO/PRO-10's. :saywhat:

Looks like I need to dig up a graph! I believe GP at 1 meter was around 110db at 20hz in the modelling if I am not mistaken.
