Or a tempest X when they are back in stock, i agree that the IXL would be a good choice but that 3.5 isnt enough space aim for 4.5cf with fill and 600 watts should make a great sub

I'll take a look at the Mach 5 subs recommended. I'm actually really leaning towards building a slot vent 12" kappa perfect designed by Wmax and Avaserfi. I know its not what my original plan was but hey, sometimes things change.

I think a larger sealed driver with EQ is probably a better idea but then again its your project so whatever fits for you...
