Hey guys,

Probably like you, I like overkill. I'm checking out binding post options. I remember seeing some time ago someone had really large binding posts. I think the base was 2"x5" and each post was 1" diameter. I can't seem to find the link anymore. Anybody have any idea what I'm talking about? I think they were about $15 from one of the big online speaker parts stores.

I can't seem to find them on parts-express, madisound, diycable.

I found the Monacor ST-975GM, which looks exactly how I remembered, but they don't seem to be sold in the US anywhere.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

John

I really like these.

They're affordable, they go through 3/4" material with room to spare, you can put them as close together or as far apart as you please (I hate how close together most binding posts are) and they're pretty big and heavy duty, like over 1/2" diameter. Check em out if you don't like em at least you haven't broken the bank.

Yeah those do look nice, although I need them to go through 1.5" baffle. I could always create a cutout in the second layer of mdf. If I can't find what I'm looking for I will go for something like that.
