Hey Folks, Looks like a nice site you have here.

About me. Been in and out of audio since the mid 70's. Worked with a lot of local bands (turned down touring with the Doobie Bros :duh: ) Used to really be into speaker building but stopped in the 90's.
I've been working on/remodeling on the "the house from the 50's" for two years now and have many to go. But we got our priorities straight.. Maria got her fancy living room and I got my media room. An awsome place to get away from it all. I also have a 68 convertible Mustang I'm restoring.
We have a 12 yr old special needs son and we recently took in a pair of brothers (1 & 3) for foster/adoption. They needed a family and we were lucky enough to find them.
Every once in a while I get to surf on the computer :laugh:

Hi Derek, and welcome to the forum.
I have two boys, 6 and 8, with cystic fibrosis - keeping them healthy is a full time job so can appreciate your emotional and time demands.
I've been playing the boys all the old triology sets, such as Superman, Batman, Indiana Jones and have just finished Back To The Future (their favorite). They've just seen Hoodwinked - a new take on Red Riding Hood, and tell me its great.

Two boys with CF? That's a challange. I understand in my own way. My son is autistic and devlopmentally delayed. Hats off to you. Sounds like you guys have been having a lot of fun with the triologies. King Kong has been ruling the screen at my place lately. The dinos are wild.

I admire you and your wife for caring for the children in the way you do. Kudos to you! :T

Hmmm... might it have been Derek and the Doobies? That had to be tough turning that down. Great band!

Too funny Sonnie. After re-reading my original post, I should have said "as a roadie"... I played at playing but alas.. I have no talent there.

Of course Derek and the Domino's is a personal favorite.
