Hello Home Theater Shack members,

It's been at least 6 months since I signed up so it's time I introduced myself. I've owned a lot of new & used audio equipment since the age of seventeen. It all started out as a DIY hobby involving car audio gear back when cassette tapes replaced 8-tracks (prior to cd's). The hobby then morphed into home audio in the late 80's after purchasing a pair of Infinity Kappa 7's. Sometime later around 1997 after purchasing a Laser Disc Player an obsession with Home Theater began which continues this day.

My Uncle was one of the first Quad speaker dealers in North America and my oldest sister still owns several turntable's as well as a Vinyl LP collection that spans over 12 thousand records. I'm the first one in my family to venture outside of 2-channel audio & into Home Theater. Looking forward to future discussions & posts with HTS members. :sn:
