My reason for being here is to learn whether any members have successfully been able to limit high powered speaker systems and subwoofers from transmitting low frequency vibrations into adjacent occupied spaces. Obvious answer: turn off the amps. Which Forum would be most appropriate for me to hang with? :help:

Such as Ron said above. There are quite a few sections that noise isolation could be implemented. Design of speaker, room treatments and so on. Either way welcome to the forum.

Hi mehale, thanks for joining and welcome to HTS.
The obvious answer to me, would be first order gradient (cardioid or hyper-cardioid) subwoofers, with the up to -20db nulls directed at the appropriate "adjacent location", possibly with the addition of tactile transducers at the seating positions.
