Hello, i made the jump down that rabbit hole and finally purchased my first projector. I have wanted one for years but could never afford one, finally able to. I purchased an Epson 5030ub. I am interested in going the painted route for my screen. Option #1 = Paint wall itself. Option #2 = I am a union sheet metal worker and I have access to ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) panels http://www.alucobondusa.com/, in the size that i need and is 4mm thick, i plan on priming surface and then painting with Black Widow Ultra. Ideally id like to go with the acm panel, perfectly smooth and flat, paintable, rigid, durable (its made for the outside of buildings). I attached a hand drawn picture of my room situation. Hopefully its legible. The room is my living room and is not a dedicated theater room, we will be using PJ as TV as well. My walls are an off white, old paint , not really sure of exact color, just off white. If possible id like the screen to be fairly good at light rejecting, for daytime viewing and nightime tv viewing with light on AND if possible be awesome for movie night with all the lights off. 12' foot PJ throw. Tentatively would like a 111' screen, which is the biggest i can have with room size and projected wall size. If possible id love some input from you gurus on the correct base for my situation. Thank you for you assistance.
