i'm pete...i'm from pearland texas, just south of houston. i recently got engaged with a woman who has her own home and has a vacant attic above her garage that she wants created into a home theater....so i found this forum and really hope to get the most information that i can out you guys who have been through all the pains and headaches....hope to get some great info on installation and where to get great buys....talk to you soon

Hi Pete. Let me caution you about your room above the garage. My first wife :foottap: told me to build a Home Theater room above our garage too. And when it was done, she locked me in it. It's a long story and it's all over now. Have a good time on this forum.
