Although I have been interested in Home Theater for some time, I only recently was able to dedicate a basement room for that purpose. In order to have something in place I went pretty low end so the setups for most other members put my equipment to shame. But the important thing is I have something to enjoy now while I learn more about better equipment and the art of Home Theater. I hope to be able to contribute in some small way while taking advantage of the vast knowledge base available on this forum.

Thanks...I have to comment that, after reading through quite a few postings, I appreciate the civility and helpfulness of the forum members. It's refreshing to witness a discussion for the sake of learning and helping people with a common interest as opposed to antagonistic and aggressive personal attacks which seem to be commonplace on many forums. Thanks for keeping it under it under control.
