So i have a denon 2313... and am looking to digitise my vinyl collection. I have two options, come straight out of my vinyl preamp, or come out of the media out of my receiver. It seems like it's designed for cleanest most untouched audio paths possible, and media out would let me monitor the vinyl on proper speakers as i get it into my laptop!

Obviously digitising vinyl, if the denon is going to be screwing with the sound... not going to use it and i'll just deal with headphones or something like that!

Denon is a well respected brand using quality parts. You will not have any problem with the signal. I would think the card in your laptop will be the limiting factor (unless it's really nice). It won't hurt to burn one & see how it sounds.
