Can someone help me...again? Right now I've got my SPL meter hooked up to the Front Left Hi-Z/Line plug on my E-MU 0404 using a RCA to 1/4", and a RCA to 1/4" going to the VCR input on my receiver. Here's what I've gotten.

There's no real problem.

You should set the measure screen to sweep from 0Hz to 200Hz for a sub (not 15-80).

The graph axis of the plot should be vertical = 45dB -105dB and horizontal = 15Hz - 200Hz.

Be sure that the level isn't so high as to clip (note your RMS is a 0dB).

The input from your SPL meter is much too high. Make sure the correct range has been selected on the meter (e.g. the 80dB range on an RS meter) and, if necesssary, use the Windows level controls to adjust the input level.
