Sounds interesting... make sure you take lots of pics for us... and the head shot for our sticky thread.

You might check with your local cabinet builders and see if they have any China Birch they will sell you. It runs about $25 a sheet vs. the $60 Maple Birch. Same stuff basically, only the China Birch outside laminate is thinner.

Not really, but I will say that the 876 would be a LOT better for low frequency when it comes to Audyssey. It has MultEQ XT, which uses a higher resolution. It will equalizes down to 10Hz very nicely. It is more expensive, but not by much. I just ordered it for $989. I had the XT version in my NAD T785 and in the low frequency range it was marvelous.

There is an explanation of the switches in the manual and on the box I believe. Just make sure they all match. At one time the ON and OFF was crossed up.
