I just calibrated my sound card, but the curve does look as like one in the REW help. Is there some thing wrong with my card or am I missing a step?

Looks like a legit calibration to me. Perhaps you’re getting confused by the Phase trace? Turn it off, it’s meaningless for this anyway.
