For home theater subwoofer use alpine bass line 12 4.50 cubic feet tuned to 24 hz? My nephew wanted a alpine bass line since they were only 60 bucks shipped.

Vas 64.3 fs 30 qts 49 xmax 10 mm

IMO 24hz is too high for HT but that’s what happens with car drivers with FS in the 30hz range. I’d be curious to measure it’s FR. It’s pretty hard to get really good output below FS. 60 bucks is cheap though, so why not...

Guess ill have to go with the image dynamics id 12 v4 at 3.83 cf tuned to 22 hz then...its fs is 20.9 hz. The alpine has a 30 hz fs.

I went back to the alpine and figured id use it for movies and music at 2.50 cubic feet tuned to 30 hz.
