When you say that you have to readjust, what exactly needs adjustment, and can you continue to adjust it? Is the whole image shifting? Both red and blue? Are you letting the set warm up for 30 minutes before doing your adjustment?

So can you continue to correct it? Does it drift slowly and then come back when the set is cold again? Is it always in the same direction? You have to be specific if you want specific advice.

Maybe, but it is not typical. More likely a power supply problem. You need to measure the power supply and d.c. offsets on the inputs and outputs of the ICs over time and look for variations.
