Hey guys,

Been searching a bit before posting just to make sure that I don't post something already posted. The issue I'm having has to do with the lamp. TV turns on perfectly fine, everything works but you have to keep front cover off and tap the metal piece on lamp assembly to get bulb to strike. I do not know if the bulb may be the cause or if the tv is just being a pain in the .

Back story on the TV:
Was received from a friend and he stated that bulb was replaced. He also stated that he had no issues and just upgraded to another unit.

Please help or I'm getting something different. I like this thing and rather not see it sitting on the side of the road.

Likely the connector is pushed out of its clip. Common on these old Mitsubishi sets.

I'm going to guess that to fix this issue, pull lamp assembly and make sure still connected. If not, put back together.
