I have had my Sony TV for about 4 years and it used to display beautiful pictures and colors. However, it shows white colors with a bit of beige in them, and the white items do not look white. The white items look like they are dirty with a bit of brown, yellow or gray color in it and the TV does not show white shirts or anything else white as such. I have tried adjusting the color, but it has not resolved this issue. Does anyone know what is wrong with my TV?

Thanks.

You have a bad light engine, aka optical block. Contact a Sony ASC and have them do an estimate then contact Sony customer relations. They had lots of problems with these and replaced them under warranty for a long time. I think that extension of the warranty has expired but they may help anyway. You will need your purchase info and an estimate from a sony servicer, and patience.
