Anyone recently done LED lighting behind their screens?

If yes, can you provide a link to the build thread if it exist?

Just want to know what I need to buy and tips/suggestions for putting it together. thanks!

Your best option is to get LED rope light from Home Depot. They work really well.

Try to use the "White" ones not the "soft white" as they are more natural and work better for contrast if you plan to leave them on during a movie.

Try to use the led screen with sharp contrast to enhance the effect.

I used to have lights behind my diy Wilsonart/Black Widow screen™. There is a shot of the backside here. I also have a whole bunch of comparison shots here with lights on and lights off.

The main reason I am replying though is because I'm in the process of doing this again with my Elite EZFrame screen. I'll probably do a build thread on it.
