LF Slope, LF Cutoff question

In the new REW v5, how does one know what setting to use for the LF slope and LF cutoff? I have an SVS 20-39PCi so what settings would I use. Previously in the REW v4, these settings did not exist. What was the purpose of adding this?

Those settings were added to better match the true low end performance of the subwoofer, rather than have a flat line that goes down to 0Hz, so preventing attempts to boost the low end beyond the ability of the sub. Adjust the slope and cutoff to get a reasonable match to the measurement at the lowest frequencies.
