Yeah I'm looking to get similar data from what I had originallly - I should have saved the original images, as it is hard to find any tests on component frequency response below 10hz. Measuring only to 10hz seems to be standard practice.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping they might still be out there on somebody's hard drive. Particularly I was interested in "Courtesy of Ilkka, here is the low end roll off of some common electronics", does somebody still have that picture somewhere?

Thanks a lot Mike, quick and helpful! I've been a horn guy for some time, but something made me think of the LLT again recently and I wanted to check what info I could find, I'm glad those images aren't lost forever.
Thanks to some help from the mods, the post has been updated to include respective pictures everywhere they are called out - some are even updated with newer ones.
That post was originally written 7 years ago with a couple minor updates since, but everything still holds true.
Thanks for the write up. Been reading about sonotube style subwoofers every day. I wish I had read this up sooner, so I could order stuff in time for christmas. I'm from New Zealand, and I can find quite a few threads about Australians building cylindrical amps, I can find nothing on Kiwis making them! Initially I was thinking of building a sealed cylinder or one with dual drivers, but I'm guessing a single driver with a long port is the way to go?
I actually only just bought my first 5.1 system (it hasn't arrived yet)
Pioneer SC-LX87 9.2 220W
Wharfedale Jade C7 Fronts
Wharfedale Jade C5 Rears
Wharfedale Jade 2c Center
A bit of googling tells me that we can buy this tubes easily in New Zealand, so I'll be searching for some drivers and amps on ebay over the next few weeks. Unfortunately places like parts express have too high a shipping charge, eg. an 18" driver on parts express might cost $180USD but the postage is another 180USD!!
Anyways, I'll probably be posting lots of questions over the next few weeks
Thanks again for the write up.
