Blaser, whether you use peak or RMS for cone excursion, the same a mount of power applied to both ways will use up the same percentage of Xmax.

But it uses that same percentage of Xmax at a fixed power input. Do 2 models of the same sub with the same power, one with RMS and the other with peak. Then compare the amount of Xmax used. Notice where the red line for maximum Xmax is in peak and in RMS.
