Looking for tips on Modifying Speakers

I have been stockpiling equipment that i have been buying from yard sales and thrift stores just because it is so cheap to do it. I had a through that maybe I should modify some of the speakers that I have and combine them with others. Has anyone else tried this successfully?

Welcome to HTS, and glad you joined!

You might want to try posting your question in the DIY Speaker Forum, or the DIY Repair & Maintenance Forum to get better exposure. In general, modifying speakers is not a good idea. Cabinets, drivers, and crossovers are designed to work together. Change one and the other(s) may not perform correctly.
