Marantz, brings back memories of their old tube amps and tuners. A well respected company for many years, is still at the top of its game. While we hear more about Onkyo, and Denon, that might change with these new line of receivers.

I thought the new line or Marantz receivers were worth my dollars. I bought the 5003 and it is the center piece of my theater. It has been flawless in performace for me. So I would agree with you!
