I am looking to purchase one these this fall when the price drops and am also looking to go with active crossed separates. Was hoping I could use the receiver to power tweeters and use other amps and mini dsp for mids and woofers. MY question is what crossover frequencies are available for the speakers using the receiver's amplified channels? Could all of the powered outputs be set to 2500Hz or 3KHz (or other chosen cross point)or does the audyssey limit it to small, medium, large settings? I thought since this was a top of the line receiver it may allow more user manipulation.

Here you go. image-446781596.jpg
Hopefully you can read that but if not it's page 265 of the owners manual. The manual is available on the Marantz website. I think I might be the only one here with that AVR. Short answer is yes the crossovers can be changed.

Thanks for the post. Looks like I'll need to buy some more amps to achieve what I want since the frequencies are so low.
