I have a mits ws-65511 that is randomly turning itself off and not allowing me to turn it back on for several minutes. I have not been able to determine any thing that could induce the problem.

I had the tv in the shop for 3 weeks and they replaced the "DM" board to supposedly fix the problem. LOL It only took a day for the problem to start up.

Does anyone have a schematic and some pointers on what to check? I only have a digital mm and a soldering iron. I have very limited knowledge about troubleshooting electronics but I want to find the problem before sending it back to the repair shop.

Disconnect the control panel and see if it still happens. The set will run by remote with the control panel disconnected. Could be bad tact switches in on the control panel.

I tried unpluging the front panel and it had no effect.

The set will require troubleshooting that is beyond the scope of the forum. Sorry.
