Hi All,
I am attempting a IC replacement to fix a convergence issue on this set. Got it for $20 from a friend, so thought it would be a good project, as with the IC chips, I shouldn't have more than $75 invested. I am about to remove the main PCB and have a question about the one of the leads to what I understand is the Flyback transformer. There are the three Anode leads, and one other small lead. This small lead is attached differently than the others, it seems to be covered in heat shrink at the transformer. Does it just unplug? I was afraid to pull on it to hard. I wasn't sure if it is "hardwired" in or not. I would post a pic, but I'm new here. No 5 posts yet.
Thanks in advance.
