What is the net volume of the box and the port size and length? From that I can figure out the tuning frequency.

If the port is 8 feet long then the tuning is 12.5 hz.

For a SSF go with the Reckhorn B2 from CSS. If your receiver doesn't supply enough voltage to drive the EP2500 the B2 can also boost the input voltage.

Most times yes. As with any sub, you can push it past its limits if you take it to the extremes.
