Yes it is impressive isn't it? That is my goal. To build a speaker like that. I have envisioned it but it seems like such an undertaking.

Continue with the collection of the cabinet;
Now I can make the exact measurement of the volume. And that's 31.5l, just as much as I need!

Oh, l forget to show you what I did to get that volume!
I maked a filter compartment (for the MW and TW), the W section will be in the box;

I previously make the last layer-10 mm MDF / to get a sandwich construction / on the front panel and the bottom;

Last constructive action ;
After 10 hours I will install the last layers of 2 x 4 mm bent MDF.

Still amazes me. I can't wait to see the final product. It is killing me. With my patience I couldn't wait this long to get them done.

A small structural change for the side panels, last layer is 1 x 4 mm plywood and everything is re ady for the measurements.

The first home tests are good.
My current surround speakers of " Technics" CA-10 with a good sound from 1997, they are sadly retreated himself ...

They sound as I expected,тwo W18ЕX001 drivers will make 250 cm^2 total radiating area superceding an 8" driver.
The measurements of the filters I will do them in a lab, not at home. I will have to do a huge job, the project is in his environment.

After the measurements, this is are Technical data:
Frequence Range; 33-25000 Hz
Long term Max Power; 200 W
Crossover Frequency; 2800 Hz
Impedance; 4 Ohms
Sensitivity; 90 db SPL
Cabinet Volume; 31 L
Gross weight / without stand /; 27kg.


This is the project of the rear speakers, will finish it with "Bird's eye view". There will be a sequel ...sometime..

That is actually for the surround speakers? What's the main speakers going to look like? I would be happy with them as my main speakers. Lol

The loudspeakers are "SEAS"- Excel / Tw-1”, Mw-5”for center 2х 5.5”,Bass-8,5”/ and cross-over parts- "Intertechnik".
Nominal impedance- 8 Ohms. Freguency Range 30Hz-25kHz.
Characterstic Sensitivity(2,83V/1m)- 87db
Long Term-150W.

I have to remind, it's a sold project.
