There is a little damage on the corner, but it says it comes with a 5 year warranty. Seems like the best deal I can get for 300 yes? Damage easily fixable?

For slightly less than $300 you could also get a pair of SVS SCS-02(M)'s and for $399 you could get a pair of the $999 MSRP MSB-02. Here is the link for the MBS:http://www.svsound.com/speakers/m-series

$300 for a pair of floorstanding full range speakers is going to be hard to beat. Having said that speakers are very different sounding from brand to brand. I think when possible it's always best to listen to them personally before purchasing. Then again you can always return them if not satisfied.

…and given the choice between the two I would go with the damage free SVS speakers Jack has linked. Many people have purchased those and been very satisfied.

+1 - amazing price on those speakers. And, I have not seen one person post regretting purchasing them.
