The spec's for this Sub are now unavailabe. Was wondering if there is anyway of modeling a new box without correrct Driver parameters?. I currently have this driver in a 60 lt 29hz tuned and was wanting to build a different box. Mike P kindly found this link for me for a car application.

magnat.sk/dokumentacia/XTC1200br.pdf

I found a sub that was very similar to one I have on Magnat's website.

Qts 0.31
Qes 0.33
Qms 8.00
Vas 81 L
Fs 30 Hz
Xmas 16mm
SPL 90 db
Pe 300 w

Not sure if any of this is relivant as its a different driver.

Any help would be great, Thanks in advance.

"Similar" can mean totally different parameters, thus different box requirements. Each sub is specific. Your options are contact Magnat and ask if the parameters are even close to the XTC-1200. Or build a box using the parameters and be prepared to be disappointed. Or sell the sub and buy a new one.
The box and tuning can possibly be optimized for the amp you have, if you know if it has a rumble filter and at what frequency, If not, what is the make and model number?

We'll have to make a few assumptions here. Assuming 12 mm Xmax, 300 watts power handling and 2 db of boost at 35 hz in the plate amp. Pink is what you have, green is 85 liters tuned to 25 hz. Without a rumble filter the sub will start bottoming out below 22 hz.

You may not need the eQ2 depending on what amp you have. What is the make and model of the amp?
The only way the amp will work with the sub is if it has a high pass filter at 22 hz to stop over excursion. It appears the Jaycar amp can have the HPF modified by changing 2 resistors, contact Jaycar for the information. The SPL graph is with 6 db of boost at 35hz and a HPF at 22 hz.

If the modeling is accurate for the sub, one 4 inch port won't be enough as the air speed would be 42 m/s. It will take two 4 inch flared ports 33 inches long each to keep the air speed acceptable.
As long as you have 4 inches of clearance the port's on the bottom will be fine.
I've read that a port close to a cabinet wall will have the effect of increasing the air turbulence and lowering the tuning a bit.

Not sure about the mic in your DV7 Laptop, you could post the question in the REW forum.
Just for an experiment I cut down the original ports and tuned the box to 26 hz. It was still Ok and could drive it much harder, but with movies it rattled my house and doors really bad, not sure why??
There was a higher SPL level from the higher tuning at the expense of low end extention.

Just for kicks I put on WOTW and the sub play's full power with no troubles.
Good to hear! :T
