new guy here

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself quickly. I'm Jonnie. I'm a grad student studying music composition and recording. I've always been interested in audio/video stuff, and right now I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the technical side of these things so I can be prepared when I start buying new gear (hopefully soon). I own mostly low-end gear, and probably will for the foreseeable future, but I'm always looking to get the most bang for my very small buck. I've already learned a lot from this forum, so thanks.
