although i am new to the AVS and HTS forums, i am not new to the AV or CI industries. my name is Paul Johnson, my company is Custom Installation Services, Inc.. we specialize in the design, installation, and service of residential consumer electronic systems. we have been in business since 1986, before Custom was the thing to do, we were doing it. from the smallest of jobs like adding speakers to the outside patio or deck to multi-room, multi-source, whole house AV, lighting and control systems, we have been doing it for over 20 years. our coverage area is southeastern MAss., Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket. and like many other companies, we have and will travel to other geographic areas to serve our clients. i am a Founding Member of CEDIA, and have been involved with the association since their beginning, and am a certified installer, designer, and instructor, as well as a ROI (regional outreach instructor). other certifications include: Lutron, ISF, HAA, URC and others. i hope that i can contribute some information and knowledge to those that seek it.

Welcome to the Shack, Paul. I am in the business as well, but I do mostly repair and calibration these days.

You might want to list your company in the Vendor Listings. While you cannot advertise in your posts (at least without becoming a sponsor), you certainly should list your business. A basic listing is free.
