I just got a Pioneer AV receiver and i connected my Verizon FIOS set top box to the (Sat/Cab) hdmi input and connected my tv to the recover via HDMI on the (Out 1) port. I am getting sound through my speakers of the channel my set top box is on. When i plug the HDMI chord to my TV, my tv says "HDMI 1 now available" but then after 10 seconds it goes to No Signal message. The TV is also new, it is a LG 3D Smart TV.

And what receiver is it? This only works if both TV and receiver are ARC compatible. Otherwise, connect the cable box to the receiver and the receiver output to the TV.

It is called pioneer elite. I already plugged my box into my receiver and my receiver into the tv. Only sound came out of the speakers no video though.

That is a line of AVRs that extends back many years and includes dozens of models. Please be explicit.
