Good Morning,

I just moved into a new place and am just getting my first home theater set up. I have a receiver and a 5.1 surround sound system. Planning on setting up a projector screen facing the left wall hanging from the kitchen. Hopefully the picture makes sense. I am not sure where to mount the back surround speakers (see question marks).

What do you guys think?

You will need at least 5 posts for the picture to show up. Use the post padding thread to get there :)

Is there any possibility of reversing the room and putting the screen on the other wall

unfortunately, no. There is a fireplace to the right of the sliding glass door that goes out to the patio.

being only 5.1 I would then suggest that you put both surround speakers on that wall angled appropriately. The just have the volume level raised slightly to compensate for the extra distance.

How about moving the screen to the left (by the bathroom) so it would be parallel to the exterior wall?
