Newbie Assistance With Screen Paint Selection

Hi folks, newbie here to projectors. We are finishing our basement and have purchased an Epson Home Cinema 3700 projector. Distance from wall to projector will be approximately 13-14'. Not sure on screen size, I would like to go with the biggest at that distance. There is no ambient light, as the basement has no outside light sources. All lighting will come from dimmable LED recessed at 3k. What should I be looking at for screen paint? We had some Behr Marquee samples picked out but as I began researching and reading, I am not sure that's what should be used. Those samples were:

Halation
Platinum
Pixel White

Any info is appreciated!

First thing is make sure your wall is smooth as a baby's bottom. Then, prime it with Kilz. I have pictures of my screen posted on this forum, but not sure where they are now! We did a custom blend of Behr Silver Screen and White Opal Pearl. It turned out to be awesome! I bet there are lots of formulas posted on this forum.

There used to be a DIY screen paint system called something like "Mississippi Mud".
I remember it was on a forum but not too sure if it was HTS.
The creator had done lots of experimenting and testing with various combinations, etc.
That was quite a few years ago, and you would think that there is a commercially made product out there now.
The secret is to achieve maximum neutral reflection without any hot spots i.e. a bright glare in the middle of the screen.

Let me post some photos of what we did. This was all new construction, using the sheetrock wall as our screen. The theater was a complete custom design, with the screen being 155".

We have lived with this screen for almost 12 years. The compliments have been many, even coming from such professionals as the folks at Star Power, in Dallas, Texas. They do custom theaters for the Dallas Cowboys, and other high profile individuals.

The application process requires the paint be sprayed on. Do not try to paint your wall with a roller!!! The extra work in prep will be worth it.

How much did this screen cost? About $90 in materials. But I spent hours with a wall sander, making the surface as smooth as I could. It all paid off!
