I just bought a 1080p Epson projector and need some guidance of how to make a screen. I am looking at buying the 800 buck fixed screens but i think i can make something very comparable at a far lower price.
I would look into the WilsonArt Designer White Laminate. It is very high quality, with a matte finish and pure white. No hotspots, and easy to put in a frame, just use a strong adhesive and let it cure, then hang! For under $200, you'll have a professional quality screen.
What I did is that I found two guys on ebay that sended me sample and if you buy, they include the instructions and plans for a screen or even a complete kit to build the screens for under 300$.I am finishing my basement so I havent try the samples I have order yet,but the DW laminate seems to be a good way to go,cant wait to compare it to other samples to know wich way I will go for my VS pro8100.
