HI fm COLORADO
I am new to this so please excuse my naivety. I just set up a Home theater using a Onkyo HT-S5100 and while using the Audessy 2EQ to setup the listening positions I keep getting an "NOISE ERROR" on the 3rd position. What does that mean and how can I overcome it?
I have tried moving the position of the mike 3 times to no avail.
thanks

Hello and Welcome! You will have to start over, but a hard restart on the avr is worth a try. If you have moved to mic to one of the positions that have already worked, then there is a software issue in the avr.

Also make sure that the ambient noise is not causing the issue. I have to turn off my downstairs fridge and heating system because if they come on while I am running the EQ it will cause a problem.
