Hi Guys,
I listen to music while I work all the time. I do this because I have suffered from Tinnitus my entire life. I recently have read some studies that state that it is possible for some Tinnitus sufferers to achieve some relief by analyzing the Tinnitus frequencies they hear, and then filtering those frequencies out of the music they listen to, or to edit white noise or pink noise and listen to that.
I have just recently been looking for a real-time EQ program that will edit music as it plays though my sound card on my machine. I came across REW. It's awfully advanced relative to what I am looking to do.
In short, I am seeking to find a simple way to notch filter 11800khz, 9240khz, and 6820khz, although I hear more frequencies than these. I will be listening to music almost exclusively through head phones plugged directly into the computer, or through bluetooth headphones. I have searched the forum over the last hour and am getting lost in far more features than I am looking for. Any help is appreciated.
For the record, I can certainly achieve this by editing the music I listen to, but its (hopefully) more simple to do it at the soundcard.
