Is there some way to stop all pop-ups, messages and notices?

I will let you know when it happens. OTOH, it could just be notices of your weekly site updates. Do we need to see those?

Just now some update pop-up appeared when I got here. I clicked it away and read 1 post. Whammo. It was back.

Seems to work. OTOH, I would rather not get them at all but they are not as bad as the rising tide of push-notifications.
I come here for the content. Features and administration are of no interest.

I am using Firefox with Windows 10 and do not get popups, though I have popup blocking enabled in Firefox. I also have Adblocker Ultimate and Cookie AutoDelete running.

Another today. Is there some way to simply defeat getting them forever?

Hello all,

Sorry for the delayed response on a reply we have a bit of a backlog.

We will be rolling out some performance updates over the next few weeks to resolve the speed issues and are currently making some tweak to the spam settings with weekly releases.

Once those are resolved we will start working again on bugs that will work to resolve the Pushy Pop-Up notice.

Consider a user option to block them. Notices, like the current one:
"We've Updated!
Visual Improvements & Performance Optimization
Latest Release Notes "

are of no interest to me at all.
