Never tried it, but I would start by making it a 1920x1080 pixel image. Then I would store that image on a usb memory stick in several formats... tif, jpg, gif, png come to mind as the most likely image formats that would be compatible. Plug the usb stick into the projector's USB port and see if that wakes-up a menu item somewhere that has been hidden because there was no usb memory device plugged-in. Short of that, Optoma tech support would be the next likely contact. Oh, and make sure the projector is off when you connect the USB stick... it may trigger a menu while the projector is starting up, or if it sees an alternate image on the memory stick, it might just start using it without you having to do anything else.
