Does anyone have experience painting one of these diy mixes on an electric screen?

I was thinking about going for a used tab tensioned screen off craigslist or something. Ive seen them float around for $200 or less. Dirt cheap for non tab tensioned as well.

84" 16:9 diagonal, Shooting via HVLP. Was planning for BW 6.4 mix

Just wondering if the added layer of paint would cause severely adverse effects. Sticking, waving, curling, cracking, ect.

In my new location it would just be extremely advantageous to go electric!

I would think that if you paint it...The paint would crack when you raise the screen.

Def a concern. Not sure though. I worked in construction and youd be surprised how pliable 15 year old paint is on walls. Like peeling off flexible rubber sometimes lol.

While I haven't done this myself I have read of such screens being painted and used successfully. The trick is to be able to leave them in the down position long enough so the paint can cure as well has dry. This would be at least several weeks and longer would be better.
