Yes you have to have this amp connected to 240v to get the 3000W rating.
By the way, Paradigm will not sell this amp seperately, no way, no how. My local dealer tried to twist some arms to get one for my M-21 build and Paradigm would not budge.
Seriously, its recomended on this sub. I was all ready to run 240 into my living room. it would have been handy too...could have put a big air compressor right next to the sub. lol
