Looking at the Apple website, my Macbook Pro can take a line level input through the line-in input. Has anyone had any luck plugging a Radio Shack meter directly into this input without using an external sound card? I don't have the money for a nice condensor mic and a phantom power sound card, but a $20 Radio Shack meter is in the budget. I'm only EQ'ing subs below ~120Hz (probably closer to 80Hz and below).
