I will have a 4" port of 26". Will having 1" Radius flares on both ends, influence the length for the calculated tune ??

Short answer: no. The flares smooth the air flow as it transitions from contained in the tube to the greater volume of unchanneled air, and help prevent "chuffing."

Do you say 'no' cuz his radius is small? Every program I see increases length when using radiused port ends.

A study into flared ports to see the effects on distortion and compression shows that for various radius ports the tuning varied only from 32.9 Hz to 33.6 Hz. http://www.aes.org/tmpFiles/elib/20120521/11094.pdf
So yes it does make a difference but is negligible.

Ok, I see. Yes, the difference in port length changes only a little bit, and I wondered why the programs never asked about radius size. That's why I asked. Thanks for the info.
