Hi Friends!

I have a question regarding Wayne's article: "House curve: What it is, why you need it, how to do it!"

If I understood the idea behind it, there is a difference between the "perceived flat response as opposed to measured flat response."

So if I choose some house curve and I need to figure the "slope between 100 and 30 Hz" wouldn't it be more precise to measure the difference using the A-weighting SPL (I really don't trust y ears :(). If I understand correctly the A-weighting supposed to account for the relative loudness perceived by the human ear.

I'll appreciate any reply.

Thanks in advance.

P.S If by any chance I'm correct, does REW provide A-weighing capabilites?
