So i have a pair of logitech z-4's. The system is great and cheap! over the years ive gotten into music with more bass, so here is my questions. Can i take everything out of the subs box and put in a new sub?, and how do you tune subs? Sorry im sort of new.

Picture of the back of the sub. Is it possible to remove it and use it again?

No you'd need to design the box for the sub.

See if your sound card has Optical digital out, AKA Toslink.

With that, you can get yourself a budget receiver, or even (I shudder) a Home Theater In A Box system from your local A/V store.

You'll be light years better off with even a basic receiver and speaker setup than you would using "computer speakers". Typical computer speakers are all about small size, and good looks on the desktop, with very little put into quality.
