Re: CRT based RPTV Convergence Repairs

This is my 10 year old Panasonic 32SF35, I've been thinking it's a convergence issue, but don't really know where to start. It seems more severe than the problems discussed. Can someone verify if this is the same issue presented in this forum and recommend which IC's I need to start replacing?

I truly appreciate any help.

Re: CRT based RPTV Convergence Repairs

I appreciate the info. Definitely didn't get dropped. Turned it on one day, heard a "pop" and that's what we had. I suppose I should start with checking fuses? Then look for bad solder connections?

Re: CRT based RPTV Convergence Repairs

Ok, I manually degaussed and everything looked great, for a couple days. I'll assume that means the coil or the thermistor are shot? Is there a way to test them or just replace them?
