i have got a denon avr-1906 that is a coulpe of years old but is a great reciever for the money,i have also got a panasonic dmp-bd35 blu-ray player and a bt vision box and also a freeview box could anyone advise me of the best way of wiring it all up, at the moment i have got the blu-ray player's hdmi cable to the plasma and optical cable to the denon,the btvision box is wired with a scart to the plasma and optical to the denon also, the freeview is wired with scart to plasma also with rca to denon, i would be much obliged if you could advise me on this.

Ok, as your receiver does not have HDMI the way you have everything hooked up seems good. I am not sure what the freeview box or the BT vision is though.
Are you having problems?

It sounds like your good to go like Tony said. I dont think you would get any better result then what you have done already unless,like T said, you are haveing problems.
