I am trying to replace a 20+ year old Bose amplifier but I noticed that the six in-wall volume controls are NOT in series with their associated speakers. The controllers are wired solely to the amplifier (to slots labelled "Room #X Volume Control").

I am hoping to avoid re-wiring, but I can't find an amplifier on the market that allows for this configuration. Does anyone know if such an amplifier exist today?

Thank you for your time.
Albert :)

JukeAudio makes something that may be a fit for your situation. The Juke-6 is a 6-zone, 12-channel amplifier. The Juke-8 is an 8-zone, 16-channel amplifier. Both let up to 4 simultaneous users stream audio from iPhones, iPads, Macs, etc. to any combination of zones. You control the volume directly from your iPhone rather than needing in-wall volume controls. If you're an Apple household and like streaming (or playing from the library in your iPhone), I think you will find JukeAudio to be a great (and inexpensive) solution.
