Hey!

I currently have a pair of RL-p15 LLT sonotubes and an EP2500. I may get my hands on a pair of RL-p18 pretty cheap.

So.... What to do with them...

Any suggestions?

I've been dying to try IB for a while, but it would require some creative structural engineering. Could I use all 4 drivers in an IB configuration?

I Could just make new sonotubes and use all four of them too. Have one in each corner and just forget about it. I have all the bass I need with the two 15s, but.. you know... :whistling:

Or I could try some dipole bonanza, just for the of it. Since I have the 15s and am happy with them, I could try some more extravagant stuff with the 18s, just for experimentation.

So, what to do?

Yeah, but... Not sure what I'd use it for, to be honest. My two 15s will do reference easily, and that down to 12-13hz. With a set of 18s in addition I'd make it down to what? 10? Just don't seem worth it. I'd rather try something new and get some better quality bass out of it (not that the 15s aren't awesome). Maybe use the 15s for midbass SPL fest and the 18s in a dual LLT config. Or run the 15s as frontchannel subs and run the front channels fullrange... Now there's an idea....

Run one of the 15s as L/R sub and the other as C sub. And the 18 pair as LFE. Man, that would kick some serious butt!
